The route details will be shared with you once you have registered and will be marked out on the day.

Registered individuals will be signed in and signed out.

Registration time: 10.00am

Walk time: 10.30am

Registration point: Car Park, Albemarle Road/St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School

What to Wear and Bring

Footwear and clothing should be suitable for the prevailing weather and the type of walk.

Walking boots and waterproofs (worn or carried) are normally advisable.

Refreshments: please take drink and a light snack if you wish, or more substantial refreshments where requested. Check the walk description regarding tea shops etc. en route and the pub lunch option at the end of the walk.

A refreshment station providing a bottle of water will be available at around 5 miles.

Payment and Refunds

There is a non-refundable fee of £10 per walk per person. Children are not permitted to register.

You can make multiple bookings on the one order.

Health and Safety

Taking part in the Walking Festival means that there are health and other risks. When you book, you are taking responsibility for these risks.

You will asked when making your booking to confirm that you are fit to undertake your walk.

Please bear in mind the grading of the walk and your level of fitness. Dropping out of a walk is rarely possible and you should be able to complete the walk without holding your fellow walkers up.
